Dear Mr. & Mrs Luevanos,
I want to speak to You not with sorrow but with Pride- the Same pride you deserve to carry every single day as sebastian's Parents.
Sebastian was not an ordinary young man. He was strong, bold, and full of life. He carried himself with courage, with energy, and with a fire that left an impression on everyone the met.
He lived With passion and though his time was too far short, the way he lived will echo forever.
You raised a son who was fearless. A son who knew how to love, how to live, aw how to make his mark on this world.
That is something that no tradedy can take away from you.
His Story will not be remembered by the way it ended, but by the power and light of the way it was lived.
Be proud, because you raised a warrior. Be proud, because Sebastian’s name name will live on with strength and honor, Be proud because every person who knew him carries a Piece of him forward, and he will continue to inspire
even beyond this life. His legacy is not pain. His legacy is strength, love, and greatness, And that legacy belongs to you-because you gave this world a son who changed it forever.
May your hearts be lifted knowing that
Sebastian Will never be forgotten. His name, his Spirit, and his light will live on eternally.
With honor, pride and strength.

Our condolences from all of us here at CCIC Automotive. Seb was a team player, especially when he got to practice being part of an in-house NASCAR pit crew. He really got excited for this!
In 2021 a young man with a smile that could light up a room walked into my freshman English class. He immediately struck me as a kind, respectful, funny teenager who got along with everyone around him. Sebastian was a person that was so easy to like.
I knew he had big dreams ahead, and I was lucky enough to learn of them last year when, once again, he walked into my classroom as a senior. But before he wrote of his dreams in my classroom, he wrote of himself and his incredible parents. This time, almost a year ago to this day, he wrote this: “My name is Sebastian Luevanos Ocampo. My name means venerable, someone you respect, especially because of age, wisdom, or character. I am the result of one man and one woman, my parents both come from difficult lives and childhoods, and they did their absolute best to raise me and my siblings properly.” He was proud of who he was and where he came from. And this guided how he envisioned his future. I later assigned an essay where Sebastian had to describe something in great detail. His eyes were always on what was ahead, so it was fitting that he chose to describe his ideal life after graduation. This is what he wrote: “The year is 2035, I'm now married and have three amazing kids. Me, my wife, my parents, my brother and his family, my sister and her family all live on our property. We own around 2000 acres of land that includes a medium sized river, a small mountain, and a few small lakes and ponds. We have many animals that we take care of. We raise chickens, rabbits, cows and goats just to name a few. We also keep bees to help pollinate all our crops.I believed I had made it, I knew I made my family proud and it was now time to rest and enjoy the time we had left here on earth.”
I’m not 100% sure if this was, in fact, everything that Sebastian wanted or if he was just completing a writing assignment. I am certain, however, that he knew exactly how to achieve his big dreams, for we spoke often of business ideas and how eager he was to become an entrepreneur. I’m saddened that this goal of living with his beloved family on so many acres of land will not become his reality, but I’d like to think that perhaps Sebastian and Mariah are living a version of this now. My heart goes out to his family- the family he was clearly devoted to- and I pray that you’ll find comfort in knowing that Sebastian had a great impact on so many lives, including mine as his English teacher. He will be missed.
