Marie-Claude brightened our lives like a ray of light on a cloudy day when Gary introduced her to us at the Reef Hotel in Seychelles. And next thing we knew they were married and we all became close friends. From Foret Noir to Fairview to San Jose we enjoyed being their neighbors. At the Yacht Club we shared a boat for many water skiing, snorkeling, and diving adventures. Marie loved the beach. She loved entertaining and serving her French cooking. She easily navigated the busy streets of Victoria on her small motor bike carrying a bag of groceries on the handlebar. She was always upbeat and cheerful and shared her joy with everyone. We will miss Marie dearly, and she will be remembered always.
