Francis Leo Plendl was born April 14, 1961 in Souix City, Iowa to Cecelia and Raymond Plendl. He was the youngest of 10 children.
He had two children with Samantha Shepard and raised them in Denver, Colorado while working at the railroad for the City of Denver. He enjoyed kicking back and enjoying barbecue or fishing with family and friends up until his final days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecelia and Raymond Plendl, his siblings Paul Plendl and Norma Begnoche and his grandson, Richard Gamez.
He is survived by his children Amanda Shepard, Shane Shepard & Tara Crews, grandchildren Melany Carrillo-Avila, Mathias, Elijah, Aria-Rei, Alias, and Amethyst-Rose Shepard. He is survived by siblings, Garret Plendl, Anita & David Anderson, Sharon & Eugene Kasperbauer, Jeanie Fegley, Stanley Plendl, James Plendl, and John Plendl.
