Our beloved Jenna was born on March 15, 1985, to Mr. Kevin and Mrs. Jeanette Downing Burkhalter in Binkleman, Nebraska. Jenna and her siblings were raised in Bird City, Kansas on the family farm. It was on that farm where Jenna le Read Obituary
I am Jenna’s second cousin and I will always remember when she came to visit us when we were in elementary school back in Oregon. We were fast friends and I will always remember her kindness and easy going spirit. We had a great day on the farm- playing in the garden, running through the hop farm and enjoying our family. My family and I got to come visit her in KS shortly thereafter and had a wonderful time. We walked through our grandma’s childhood home, caught frogs after the rainstorm, and listened to the crickets after dinner. While we didn’t see each other very often, I’ll always cherish those memories. I wish her family comfort during this very difficult time. God bless!
