June 3, 1984 – August 13, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved brother, friend, uncle, and Air Force veteran, Jesse Stowell at the age of 41. He was found at his home in Greensboro, North Carolina on August 13, 2025.
Jesse was born on June 3, 1984 in Burlington, WI to parents Charles and Michele Stowell. Jesse spent most of his early childhood growing up on a dairy farm. In 1996 his family moved to Grants Pass, Oregon where he developed a passion for mechanics and aviation. He graduated early from Grants Pass High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He loyally served his country for 10 years as an F-16 Crew Chief. His dedicated service included four overseas deployments during both the Afghanistan and Iraq Campaigns. His expertise and commitment to ensuring the mission capability of strategic aircraft contributed directly to national security.
Post military service, Jesse spent several years as an Airframe Quality Control Specialist at HAECO, paving the way for many other veterans. He had a larger than life personality and he could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was unapologetically authentic and had an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh. He will always be remembered for his mischievous smile and incredible sense of humor.
Jesse is survived by his older sister, Ali (Brandon), his niece, Ava, and nephew, Colton. Jesse also had numerous friends who are considered family. Jesse’s family and friends will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
A funeral service with full military honors will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Jesse, you were taken too soon, but you were one of a kind and will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, fly high, my brother!
