Kelsey Angelita Roberts-Gariety was born on May 14th, 2001. She was 23 years old. Kelsey resided in Denver, Colorado with her husband Jack Gariety and her kitties Brick, Izzie, and Deandra, and her puppy (Asher) Little Buddy. Kelsey was raised in Bellefontaine, Ohio along with her brother Kody Roberts (25) by her late mother Glenda Ratleff. Her great-grandmother Ola and Aunt Shasta also helped raise Kelsey after her mother passed. Her biological mother Stephany Roberts resides in Bellefontaine. She leaves behind many siblings: Kiley al-Nubu’at (27) and Kayla Barth (24) reside in Toledo,Ohio, Tyrone Coleman and Kody Roberts (25) reside in Bellefontaine, Christian (19), Rayna (18), Harmony (16), and Asa McCleese (13) reside in Dunkirk, Ohio, and Ezekiel al-Nubu’at resides in Toledo. Kelsey’s father Nick Hedges, also resides in Toledo with her siblings Jeremiah, Dominik, and Gavin Hedges. Kelsey also has very many cousins including the ones she grew up with: Tah’teona (25), Rayven (24), and Maliah Alexander (20): Children of Shasta Alexander, Kelsey’s closest Aunt, residing in Bellefontaine. Kelsey also left behind 5 nieces and nephews. (Mecca, Kaybrii, Heaven, Armani, and King al-Nubu’at: Children of Kiley al-Nubu’at.
Kelsey graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 2019. Kelsey was loved by everyone. Kelsey was heavily involved in her church “First Friends Church” and loved her pastor Matt. Kelsey sang in the choir and had the most amazing voice. Kelsey played many instruments including the piano and flute, and she even taught herself to play the ukulele. Kelsey's love for life was unmatchable. She loved animals more than anyone in this world. Her infectious laughter and her kind and caring nature reached volumes. Kelsey enjoyed flowers and nature. Kelsey had a sense of humor that anyone could understand. Kelsey enjoyed reading her bible and praying for anyone who needed it. She was truly the most caring and loving soul. Kelsey’s faith in God was strong and she knew one day she would be reunited with her mom Glenda again. Kelsey will forever be missed. Heaven gained another angel.
