Nancy Jean Janson's Obituary
Nancy Jean Janson, age 67, of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Verona and Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (Flais) and L. William Janson. Sister of Susan J. Kardell (Michael) and Dr. Robert W. Janson (Susan) and Aunt of Connor W. Janson. Long-term friend of Adam Bratten of Aurora, Colorado.
Nan spent a successful career as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching movies, working out, decorating her home and, like her father, was adept at telling jokes. Prior to her move to Colorado, Nan celebrated her Slovenian heritage by attending and dancing at many polka events.
Nan was joyfully reunited with her cherished and deeply missed cat, Willie, at The Rainbow Bridge.
Interment of her ashes will be at Plum Creek Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
