Sheyenne Grace Strand, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado. Born on May 24, 2002, in Fort Riley, Kansas, Sheyenne was the beloved daughter of Brian and Deanna Strand of Aurora, Colorado, and the cherished sister of Sierra Corral and her husband Greg of Holdrege, Nebraska.
Throughout her life, Sheyenne moved to various places, including Fairbanks, Alaska, and Aurora, Colorado. She graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in 2022, where she was an active participant in unified basketball, cheerleading, and Poms. Her vibrant spirit and enthusiasm were evident in all her endeavors.
Sheyenne had a deep love for music, videos, and sharing laughter through her silly jokes. She found joy in singing and dancing with her nurse, Sarah, and was an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche, never missing a game whether in person or on television.
Her radiant personality and kind heart touched everyone she met. Sheyenne was a beacon of happiness, spreading love and kindness to all, often leaving a lasting impression on those around her.
Sheyenne is survived by her devoted parents, Brian and Deanna, her sister Sierra and brother-in-law Greg, her grandparents Rodney and Sheila Strand, and her grandmother Kay Kimberly, all of Holdrege, Nebraska. She will be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and the many friends she made along her journey in life.
Sheyenne's light and love will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
