Tim was born on February 28, 1953, in Oxnard, CA, to the late Florence “Flo” and Edward Patton. After graduating from Channel Islands High School in 1971, he proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Following his military service, Tim embarked on a long and fulfilling career as a truck driver, a profession in which he took great pride.
In 1973, Tim married the love of his life Linda, and although life took them on different paths for a little while, they found their way back to each other, remarrying in 2015 after reuniting in 2003. Their enduring bond is a testament to the depth of their love.
Tim is survived by his wife, Linda Patton; their daughter, Brandy Elliott (James); his daughter, Stacy Patton; three stepchildren, John (Mayra), Corinne, and Lindsay (Ryan); and five beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Adam, Larry, Jordan, and Brooklyn. He is also survived by his brother, Tom Patton (Elizabeth). Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Mike Patton and Ed Patton.
In addition, Tim leaves behind his uncle Frankie Dean Patton (Kathy). He is remembered fondly by his cousins, the Morey family, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Known for his unwavering pride in both his military service and his trucking career, his friends and family will always remember his patriotic spirit and the love he had for his profession.
Tim’s proudest accomplishment and greatest joy was being a grandpa. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, and his love for them was boundless. His face would light up with so much joy at their laughter and accomplishments.
Military Honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. in Denver, Colorado on July 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM to honor Tim's life.
