Although I did not know Don for a long time, it was truly a pleasure to work alongside him. In that short time, I came to realize he was a man of grace, dignity, and genuine quality. Don always put the public’s interest ahead of his own, especially in his role serving the community. He was dedicated to public safety, honest in his words, and steadfast in his values. I was proud to call him my friend. The world needs many more people like Don. May he rest in peace, and my deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.
